As a journalist I speak with a lot of interesting people. It’s what we are supposed to do - Talk to people and hear from them what is happening in their world, through their lens. Then assess their views with the facts of the situation.
The fact is we are all connected. The whole world is bound through the actions of others. On January 6, 2021, the actions of others changed the course of history and America. Or was it merely an operation to advance the narrative being pushed to rewrite our history? Is America still a Republic? Can Americans still stand?
I was in Washington DC on January 6, 2021. It was overcast and very cold. The atmosphere was one of joy, prayer, peace and love. People who love America came to be a part of history as DC had never seen a rally showing support of the country’s public servants in Congress on the day the election was to be certified. It was to be an historic day.
Instead January 6 will be remembered as the day America’s freedom of speech was usurped. History should reflect that if Congress followed the Constitution, they would never have certified the 2020 election, and Donald J. Trump would still be President.
Jeremy Brown, a former Green Beret, Republican congressional candidate and Oath Keeper, attended the January 6 rally to support America and her public servants to provide security for the many rallies that were ongoing that day. Currently Jeremy is sentenced to 7 years and 3 months in prison for refusing to work as an undercover operative to spy on the Oath Keepers for the FBI on January 6. He taped the interaction he had with them and posted it on social media. This angered the never chartered agency and they stormed his home in September 2021 and arrested him on bogus charges.
The following audio and related transcripts is a conversation I had on April 28, 2023 by phone with the January 6 political prisoner, Jeremy Brown.
